Sheldon Ramkisson
Chief Operating Officer
Mr Ramkisson’s initial foray into the healthcare field resulted in the transformation of a private nursing registry in the grips of losing over $5 million monthly, to a successful Medicare certified home health agency. Combining tenacity and business acumen, he and his team expanded the business to over 600 Medicare lives. This resulted in the establishment of three additional offices, and the institution of two additional revenue streams: private home care services and an outpatient physical therapy company. With a love for the challenge of building organizations, in 2005, Sheldon entered into another business venture into which he has since devoted all his energies: Total Home Health, Inc. As Chief Operating Officer, he and the management team at Total Home Health, expanded from an active census of 40 patients to over 900 Medicare lives. This directly translated into an increase in gross revenue from approximately $200,000 in 2005 to over $11 million in 2009. Moreover, his leadership produced another five new locations serving the home health needs in 14 counties in Florida and an additional 9 counties in Texas. Sheldon continues to apply his abilities to ensure the continued growth and success of Total Home Health Inc. He is now concentrating on launching a new division, designed to provide private duty nursing services.
